Local Hack Day

We hosted Local Hack Day this weekend at Western New England University. As an official MLH sanctioned event, we had a bunch of great stuff to hand out to all of our participants. Who doesn't want to grab a handful of stickers, some buttons and a selfie stick?

We also had a bunch of great hardware for our attendees, thanks to our Hackerspace. As you can see, we had an awesome selection of development boards and other small electronic components to use for various projects.

The day's events featured several presentations covering topics such as procedural content generation, quantum computing, and software defined radio. We also had some great guest speakers and presentations given by our sponsors, Big Y and FIT Solutions. In the morning, we even had live news coverage!
